Out of interest, what have you seen in the way of Japanese animation. I've been shown a few things which I didn't find objectionable, perhaps you've just been unfortunate to see the worst? L

its dumb I watched that one with the fat flying hairly thing and the bald kid with balls on his forhead its like waterbender or something, but anyway it still SUCKs

Ah, yes I think I know what you mean. The 'water-bending' thing is saturday-morning kids stuff.
Things like Akira and Ghost in The Shell (popular) are much better, more adult stuff. I'm assuming you've not seen anything rated 18+ but I may be wrong.
