can I connect pre-kit led strip to a battery wired led strip (see pic)?
connecting a led kit (white strip) to battery pack (black strip) but am I stripping end both black and white to make it happen. Or way to make black same as white? Is there an easy way to do this? Thanks in advance.

These should be Common Anode, like most other Led Strips. So judging bythe plus that I can see on the black strip that will be your Positive connection, The other three will be the negative end on each led's in the sequence.
Align the positive connections on the strips. Hopefully they will match and you won't have to make a patch cable. If you look at the open copper traces, where you can cut the strip, There should be some Identification.

Now that I look closer, the black strip actually has a 2 conductor wire coming out.
So match the two positives together and connect the 3 cathodes of the white strip with the single cathode of the black strip. If there were any animation effects on the White strip (turning individual LED's on or off VS all at once) they will be gone. the White stip will be the same Brighness that you set the black one to.

You'll need to know what pin does what so you can match it to the trip. Whether you mate the strip to a compatible header or strip both and solder them together is up to you. Either way it will take some work.
