0lemonie 11 years ago Etch cream is super-corrosive stuff for glass, it won't work the same on plastic. If you want to roughen-up the surface you need to scratch it, with something abrasive. Sandpaper might do it, or an abrasive wheel on a slow-spinning drill. L

No. Use spray sand.
