can i use aexternal battery charger to power a robot?? Answered

as my question title states would i be able to hook my robot up to an external battery charger to  power it? if so how would i hook it up that way

Battery chargers give a fraction of the power delivery of a battery, so no, unless you can accept the robot working with 10X less power, or more

I addition to what Steve said most battery chargers produce a "rough" output. The voltage is not filtered as much, or even not at all, so you get many more peaks and valleys of the AC wave curve. For charging batteries this is just fine and it reduces power loss, cuts cost and simplifies the circuits in the charger so it makes them cheaper to build. But if you try to run sensitive electrical components off of that output things will not work right because the voltage is to erratic.

ok so ill have to produce my own actual batteries thank you both
