can v store both diferent freqncies of dc frm solar and wind in a same storag batery and can we use sme invrtr for both? Answered

i and my friends are doing a project on hybrid energy systems solar and wind combination my doubt is that can we combine both solar and wind power which is dc and of different  frequencies is there any equipment to convert them and store in same battery .do we have to keep a single inverter or double inverter so that we can reduce our project cost and make our project at cheaper rates at 350$. please help.

Yes, you can get hybrid wind/solar charge controllers that both control a wind turbine AND take other DC input from solar panel(s) to charge the same battery, then use an inverter from that battery to drive a useful load.

The off-the-shelf solution(s) are expensive not because they cost a lot to make, but because they cost a lot to make safe (getting safety certifications to make sure they don't burn down your house). There are diy plans available online if you search.

"DC" = Direct current = zero AC content = NO "frequency"

Wind generation is usually done by alternators, but rectified to DC, Solar is DC already.

+1 Rectify the wind generator, combine that with your solar panels and feed that into your charging circuit for your battery bank. But before you go much further you may want to get a better understanding of basic electronics.
