charging Answered

hello sir,
Im intrested in solenoids feild and wanna have practical experince in that.can you please tell me how to generate electrical charge by using solenoids and storing that charge in mica capacitors with less voltage rating high storage capability..which also has slow discharge.
The time of storing the charge should be high.Hope will guide me.

Thankyou.

Capacitors make vary power power storage. Even super caps have their limits. Solenoids will be vary poor producers of electricity as well. Moving the shaft of the solenoid in and out will produce some power but not enough to do anything useful. If you want to produce power the use a motor. Store it in a super capacitor if you would like but you'll want to move it to a more robust storage solution. Unless you need the quick charge and discharge cycle a capacitor offers.

Thanks for your valuable suggestion.so by using solenoids we cant generate enough power to work a micro-controlled pcb.i want to make use of a pcb with out giving external power supply. Is there any other process to generate power for my pcb??

You'll want to use a motor and find some way to spin it. Either with some gearing and a crank to spin it by hand or letting wind or water spin it. Look into making a hand crank generator. But the feasability of using a system like that will depend on the power you'll need to run the device.
