diode? Answered

can  i use several diodes in4007 alike to lower the PSU voltage to say 3vdc  from 5vdc to power a radio?
also can I do the same to build a laptop psu just to charge out of a lcd psu gives 25v DV , can I use drop voltage bu using same diodes since each one 0.7v drop?

You need to use a voltage regulator.  diodes and resistors would do it but it would be unstable.

Google voltage regulator.  Radio shack carries them.
