hi...was just wondering if there was a way i could use a telephone headset or an x360 headset to use skype? Answered


 id appreciate the help...just a link even. thanks a ton in advance.?

I don't know about the xbox headset, but I've seen adapters to hook up an analog phone to a computer. Just go to you local computer store and ask.

Also, Logitech makes some nice wireless headsets. I use the G930 for home and some studio editing, and I really like it. (That ran me aprox. $100.)

thanks, ya know ive used a lot of the logitech stuff, and it just doesnt like me i guess, ive used a mouse from them a keyboard, and even my remote just crapped out from them, ill look into the headset though, thanks a ton!

Hmm... when your stuff broke, did you contact them? I have never had to talk to their tech support, but a friend of mine told me that they replaced something of his free of charge two different times even though it wasn't under warenty and it was his fault. There are pleanty of other headsets like the G930 from other brands if you want another brand.

if Telephone = Bluetooth or other computer compatible microphone then yes,

x360 headset, I can't say. Not sure if it shows up on the computer connected to the controller as an audio device.

its a wireless remote...i was thinking i could just plug it into headset jack...but then that still doesnt give me a mic...the other head set is an older one i think, its brand is uniben...i was told it was for the computer...but it only has the headset jack, looks like i wont be able to use what i got. thanks a bunch .
