Why do you think you have one, or are you just being cautious?
Do you mean "service" as in Windows Services, or something else like a process?

Just bieng cautious. My webroot antivirus expired and I havent renewed it yet. I have windows defender on and ran one of those free spyware scans and nothing came up. i havent downloaded anything suspicious but there are alot of services running in the background some are labeled manufacturer unknown and i dont know what they are for or If i need them. So I would just like to know if some of these services might be malware or some kind of virus that is hiding. Thanks

It's hard to tell when a service is bogus and when it's not.  I wish windows told you what the service was doing and what it was running.
