I was tricked into signing up for this because I wanted to see the whole post for something. Only to find out I can only see it if I pay $. How do I unsubscribe to this?
You can see everything without paying anything, without even signing up (just one of the things that makes this site so great!).
The main benefits of Pro are a huge reduction in the ads you see, the ability to download PDFs of projects, and some extra formatting tools to make your instructables look better.

Most people(with more featured instructables) give away pro membership. Just message them.

Not necessarily so - If you create a really good instructable that gets featured your reward is a pro membership.
However you can always see the whole instructable just by clicking on the "NEXT page" box at the bottom of each page.
You can just not bother to come here again. No one will hassel you about it.
