Unfortunately, no, there's isn't a way to directly "step through" the Instructables you see when browsing. That would be an awesome feature to add to the site, but given the limited staffing (there's one person who does all the back end software!), it's unlikely to be as high a priority as other things.
However, it would be great if you wanted to create a Feedback forum topic with this idea. At least then it would get onto Staff's radar.

Thank you, Kelsey.
Maybe someone will clone that one person and publish an ible...
I see it now...the site is faster...we all have look-alikes to send to our places of employment as we spend as much time as we want making stuff!!!
LOVE IT!!

ps: I'm heading to the feedback place now. I'm new, so all this is really new and cool for me...

Why don't you do it the simple way. Have the main catagory up on a page then right click on a ible you want to see and open in a new tab. That way you can open a few tabs to review and close them when done and still have your main catagory open where you were. Just a simple suggestion that saves you from getting sidetracked when browsing (which is very easy to do on here).

Thanks, Redneck.
I'm doing the CTRL button when I click, but my internet is S......L.....O.....W, so it's frustrating!
I've also used the BACK button on the browser but, again...
aarrrgggghhhhh!

Yea can can relate with that. That's why I open multible tabs at once. Get one open and then read it while the other pages open in background, doesn't speed things up but you don't notice as much since your reading. Good luck with it and welcome to Instructables! :)
