If the computer is on a domain and the last user was 'accounting1' then you're almost certainly on a company machine.

If you work for the company then talk to your manager about getting access.

If you have bought this machine then the I.T department at the company who sold it are woefully negligent.  There are ways to get in but I'm not going to expand on them here.

If you've come by the machine by other means then . . .

Check you're using the correct domain, if you're not sure you'll have to try them one by one or ask someone in the same building as you.

Also, now the entire world knows your login and password.  Make sure you change both once everything is sorted out.

I always start with hard re-boot and failing that I call sysadmin (this is when you learn to be courteous over the phone!)

You don't login when your password doesn't work, that's what they're for. Find a system administrator to reset your password. If you are the system administrator, you're hosed.

Actually, if you are the sysadmin, you should already know what to do in this situation... or know where to find out.
