0canucksgirl 8 years ago Start with the basics of figure drawing, and learn to draw the human form so that you have correct proportions, etc. Once you have that mastered, its a matter of drawing details that best represent you (sort of in an exaggerated manner), and in the style of cartoon drawing that you prefer. Reference photos of yourself, so that you can see yourself in a "natural" way, the same way that others see you. You can also reference other cartoons to guide you in drawing specific details, like hair, eyes, nose, mouth, hands and clothing. It's going to take practice, and isn't something you become really good at over night. Even professionals started off by doodling, and learning until they were able to make it look effortless.
