how do you change the name of your profile and the steps on how to do it? Answered

Login, click on the "You" link next to your icon in the top right corner of the page. At the "You" page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and follow these instructions,

"If you'd prefer a different username than *****, you may change it here, or by emailing service@instructables.com. Consider carefully, as we can only let you change it one time!"

Click on "you" at the top of the page
At the very bottom of the page is the option to change your profile name.
