during photosynthesis in the plants leaves the chlorophyll uses energy of light of sun to break the bonds between hydrogen and oxygen.if the chlorophyll inside the leaves are seen under microscope then it can be seen that after some periods the chlorophylls shines with a bright light.this is when the water is divided.
