how to add studs or traction to your running shoes? Answered

has anyone ever took the time to try putting nails into your shoes for traction or found some other way for traction on ice

This is all just theory...but: pull out the insoles and unlace the shoes so you can have access to the toes. Drill some screws. You will want washers on both sides to that the screws don't get ripped out and also have a nut to lock it into place. So the order will be washer-shoe-washer-nut. Replace insoles and re-lace. Hope that makes sense.
