Are you looking to mask something that already has an astringent taste like Cabernet Sauvignon, or are you looking to add it to something that doesn't normally have an astringent taste, like strawberries? If you are applying it topically, are you looking for a way to hide the fact that you are wearing some? If that's the case you're best bet is to just apply it at night, just before you sleep.
