i have a sony grand wega 50 inch lcd projection tv and it has colored lines going up and down whats wrong? Answered

I just got a hand me down sony lcd projection tv to repair and keep. model no. KF-60we610 and from what I read about these TV's is that the optics core gets fried resulting in lines/dots/blotchs.

blown ir  leaky capacitator maybe?
