i want to make a device that lights a LED to my guitar in some kind of sequence with differant color lights Answered

could someone draw a schamatic for me that lights up numerous lights in some kind of sequence in differant colors?
i dont want that whole lights a blinking light to the sound i want some thing that when i play a note something happins and when i play a differant note somthing else happins
(for example i will play a string/note/etc. and a blue LED lights then i play another string/note/etc. and a green LED lights)

what is the easiest way to do this without having to puchase some kind of IC of the internet
i dont know how to use ICs and i have no way of buying from the internet

how can i do this easy and cheap
