keep a papermodel in good condition?
I've just finished a paper model boat, it's a fishing boat with a lot of small detail, and especially rigging with thread. can anyone suggest any ways to keep it from getting broken/ and i don't mean, 'make sure you don't sit on it' or something, but maybe a spray on adhesive that would keep all the joints stiff, but wouldn't damage the paper.

Give it several very light coats of clear acrylic spray. Wait until each coat is dry before applying the next or the paper will become saturated and will look wet.

+1 Burf. Also post a pic of the boat, or how about an instructable on how to preserve a paper model?

I would think a spray varnish would be the way to go - others might have more specific ideas...
