With L.E.D's, are there any specific resistors i should use or would a 150ohm one be find and not give the resistor to much power and die?>

. The purpose of the resistor is to limit the amount of current going through the LED, hence, it is called a current-limiting resistor. If the resistor is too small, the LED will burn out faster, although it will be brighter during it's short lifetime. If the resistor is too big, the LED will be dimmer or not light at all. . You have to know the V and I specs for the circuit and LED to calculate the proper resistor.

Its for the led in the Wiimote, these are thing i should be learning at school but the cut the electronics class
