Are you talking about a vacuum capacitor? I'm not talking about a spark gap tesla coil, i mean a vacuum tube tesla coil. i know mpf cap isn't good for sgtc because of the harsh pulse, but the vttc is cw (continous wave) so there is no pulse. thanks and please answer.

I don't think so, you want an air-gap I think.

If its the topology I'm thinking of, all the caps need to be >>10kV operating. What's your circuit ?

If the cap's rated at >10kV you'll be fine. Like Xellers says, its a class C circuit, so there are high resonant peaks on the cap.
