need help
i want to start doing several of the projects that are here but i wanted to know if someone can tell me what i'm i going to be needing example leds resistor(what resistance) etc.......... its cuz i'm goin to order them online from some site please help

Well, the amount of Ohms of your resistor relies on the amount of voltage you will use, as well as the amount of voltage the LED can handle.

yea its cuz i wanted to use voltage from the sockets but dont know.... i can do all the things but finding my power source i see it kind of difficult (dont want to be buying and buying batteries/ only for some projects)

Well to make it easy for me, I buy a double AA battery holder. You need a battery clip with it, and then attach it to the LED accordingly. But just search google for "resistor values",so you can just put in the amount of voltage you have, the voltage the LED takes, and it gives you the resistor value you need to purchase.
