newsletter problem Answered

since christmas i have had to repeatedly sign up for the newsletter. here's what happens. i sign up say on monday, that friday i get the newsletter, then the next week comes along no newsletter. i have signed up several times (several meaning more than ten) i know it isn't going to spam because i intentionally keep my spam folder low on spam. please help

It can take up to one week to join up, but it sounds like you know this already. Our newsletter definitely goes out to new subscribers regularly, so perhaps your mail provider is blocking delivery? Do you have a normal email provider like @yahoo, @hotmail, or @gmail?

first thing i want to make a point of is the fact that this has been going on for since christmas. when i say this i mean the having to sign up repeatedly to get the newsletter. and no it isnt my email carrier that is holding things up if so why would i have instructable newsletters dating back to 6/03/08 in my email account. no there is something going on here a glitch in the software or some sort of virus ( not on my end though my email is HOTMAIL which is web based) do you know anyone that i could talk to that would be willing to snoop a little and see what's going on. i am getting tired of repeatedly not getting the newsletter and having to repeatedly send my email in. since christmas here is what has happened. one week i STOPPED receiving the newsletter. so i signed up again (this isn't getting blocked because i have 6 months of newsletters in a folder in my hotmail account and on my hard drive.) so after signing up i received ONE newsletter. the next week NOTHING. so i signed up again and the same thing happened i did this 3 or 4 more times but that got tedious i even tried to signup one monday and wait for the next monday to signup again. it doesn't matter after i signup at some point the database is taking me off the list.

I hear your frustration and there's no excuse for why you should be having these problems. Luckily, we can fix this. Please PM with me with the email address that you'd like to have added to the newsletter. I'll get into our database and I will make darn well sure that your name is added to the list. The next newsletter comes out on Thursday next week. Let me know via PM what happens. I'm on it!
