I included details in the question, but that part did not work.
I tried the Flash method and found it won’t work. The other method always results in the program declaring that the picture is corrupted.
After uploading the picture to Flickr, I found that transferring the file from Flickr does not work either. I use Win98 and Firefox. This site is clearly not Firefox friendly.

Yes it is. Works for me and I never ever use IE. I however use Windows XP at school, with Firefox and it works fine, or Mac OSX 10.5.6 at home and it works perfectly. I think it is not Win98 friendly. I had trouble with it claiming it to be corrupted, but I was deleting something at the same time.......

Today, it worked. Perhaps it only works on Mondays :-).

I think I see what you mean. When uploading an image to your library, it says it may have been corrupted in transit?
