relieve a burn ? Answered

i put cayanne pepper in my socks to wrm my feet and now it burns very very bad

I know, thanks but I put salt on them and they feel better...

Next time, try soaking them in milk.

As I remember it, pepper hurts but isn't actually doing any tissue damage. Best suggestion I can give you -- outside of "if it hurts that much, why are you wasting time on the network rather than asking a doctor?! -- is to wash your feet thoroughly in the hope of removing as much of the capsaicin as possible... and then wait for your body to metabolize the rest.

I tried not to say this, but: "Take two aspirin, stay off your feet, and if it hurts when you do that DON'T DO THAT."

thanks for the answer but i ended up rubbing salt on it and it made it much much better

I could be wrong BUT, feel the burn and watch the clock pass...... well, just watch TV or something.

Empty a box of baking soda into a large bucket or pot, add cool water and soak your feet in the solution for 20 minutes or so.

OK, I never had baking soda @ my disposal..... and I have tried urine
