rss feed on member page
Hi, I found one of the rss feed from the member page (actually the one in the <link> tag) point to https://www.instructables.com/tag/type-id/featured-true/rss.xml but this feed has noting to do with mine Instructables and this is a big problem connecting Instructables to Google Buzz :(
I think the feed in the <link> tag should be https://www.instructables.com/member/membername/rss.xml.
Can you help me ?

I'm having the same problem noahw did. If you're looking for a specific member names rss feed it's:
https://www.instructables.com/member/MEMBER-NAME/rss.xml?show=good
I don't see anything wrong with this rss feed. You say there's a featured one connected to it? I'm trying to find it. Perhaps if you give me more information on how to find it, maybe some screenshots?

I'm not trying to get a specific feed but I'm trying to have a standard works the right way ;)
One way a third part service can discover feed on web pages relies on the <link> tag (you can look for it in the source of your profile page).
This way firefox discover feed and give you a nice icon in the location bar (the first screenshot show this icon while I'm on your profile page) but clicking on it open a feed unrelated to you (or any other member) https://www.instructables.com/tag/type-id/featured-true/rss.xml
like you can see in the second screenshot.
I'm sorry English isn't my first language so I have a hard time trying to do my best explaining this issue ...
Hoping I can explain my problem.

Alright, I see what you're talking about now! You're right, that link totally doesn't work, and I'm not sure what controls it. I'll bring that up to the dev-team.
However, there is a fix I can offer now, that we have control over.
If you look at the attached images, I used noahw's page to show how I get the rss feed for his specific page. The same method can be used for a lot of other pages on the site (instructable categories, forum categories).
Hopefully this helps, and like I said, I'll talk with some people to figure out what's going on with that link in the top corner.
For reference:
Image 01: shows where I select a members rss feed from.
Image 02: shows a drop down menu I select "google" from.
Image 03: shows the final selection screen.

Where are you getting your member rss feeds from? The seem to be working correctly for me on their member pages. If I click on the "rss" icon next to scoochmaroo's Instructables, I get the following link:
https://www.instructables.com/member/scoochmaroo/rss.xml?show=instructable
Which is the correct and working rss feed for her projects.
Perhaps I'm not understanding which feed you're talking about though...

those icon works right but the html page contains also a <link> tag with a wrong feed ...
you can see this feed with firefox clicking on the feed icon in the location bar and for your profile it's still https://www.instructables.com/tag/type-id/featured-true/rss.xml
I don't see how this feed can be related to a profile ...
P.S. sorry for my bad English, it's not my first language
