smoke detector piezoelectric transducer hack? Answered

I'm thinking of building a basement water leak detector like this:

I wanted to hook it up to something loud like a smoke detector. Is it possible to take adapt the piezoelectric transducer circuit with the water sensor? Any guides. Thanks
