BROKEN AGAIN: 'sort=RECENT' does not appear to be working for I'bles or Q&A Answered

The "sort=RECENT" URL modifier does not appear to be functioning properly for either Instructables or for Questions.  Since this is a back-end operation, it should not be browser related (FF, MacOSX 10.5.8).  Nevertheless, I have deleted the affected tabs, cleared cache, and reloaded the pages multiple times.

Update 23 May 2013:  As Mikeasaurus and Kiteman report, this problem does appear to be fixed.  A fresh Safari session showed the correct results, although my Firefox session still did not.  I quit and restarted Firefox, logged off of my Instructables session before clearing cache and cookies again, and now both pages are displaying correctly.

Update 8 July 2013:  It looks like the mid-day software update today has broken this again.  The screenshots shown below (with the two "too many redirects" dummies missing) are exactly what the pages look like right now (3:49 pm PDT).

Here are screenshots showing the page of Instructables and the page of Questions.  Both are were just wrong.

And this is broken again today, following whatever caused the down time this afternoon (a mid-day rollout, perhaps?).

Sorry, the system must have choked on one of the comments I made to a spammer.

I saw you reported this earlier, and it was working fine for me on an IE machine.

I'm now on my Android tablet (about 15 min after the original posting of your topic), and again there is no problem. I saw the two thumbnail-free projects you highlight about 45 minutes before the time-stamp of this message, but provided "time out" errors for me.

Here are screenshots of what the recent Ibles and Questions look like to me:

Yup, both of those look normal. Sigh. My Firefox must be caching something it won't admit to caching, and won't delete when I tell it to :-(

I did see part of what you reported - maybe it was a temporary thing at their end?

You might have been viewing the site during a small release we did yesterday (to fix the missing download PDF button). I checked both the Questions and Instructables feeds and both now display with 'recent' correctly. Does it work for you now?

Well, the issue did show up yesterday afternoon, probably during that patch. However, at least on my Firefox it is still stuck in the bad state above (which is why I created a new bug report). I've done all the usual things, including clearing cache both before creating the topic and again just now, before posting.

Okay. I just launched a fresh Safari, and both URLs work properly now. I will edit the text and title of this topic accordingly. I probably have to quit and relaunch Firefox :-(
