oops, i probably should have put this comment here instead of the main forum first. anyhoo, my promise to you, if i win a laser cutter my first application will be DIY Laser Eye Surgery. why pay outrageous prices for a so-called "doctor" to perform certified LASIK, when you can do it yourself for a fraction of the cost!

of course i am kidding... or AM I? because remember, when it comes to lasers you only get two chances

I absolutely love this project. Anything that I can use to drive cats as *far* away from my allergy-ridden nose as possible =)

Go chemistry!

You should be in business! There is without a doubt in my mind if you dont bring this product to the market, others will within a short period of time.

Cats are wonderful creatures. May this catnip make them happy just like a cool glass of iced tea on a hot day. I am glad that the catnip extract can do no harm. Go chemistry!

WARNING: Shameless self-promotion ahead. The American Chemical Society has officially given its seal of approval to DIY Kitty Crack. The July 2nd issue of Chemical & Engineering News (trade mag of the ACS) has a blurb about the project here (Chem. Eng. News, 2007, vol 85, p. 80).
