voltage multiplier for flourecent tube driver? Answered

i have a flouro tube driver from an old scanner, when i put 12v dc it i get a nice tiny spark across the output wires now i want to make the spark BIGGER how could i do it with not many parts?

yeah, i tried a small step up transformer, that didnt work

for it would i need any other parts besides wire, tubes, the round thing on top?

Right, you need a transformer, matched to the frequency being fed into it, with a matched load, with a matched capacitance...not just a transformer. It needs to oscillate with a resonant kick that really bumps up the voltage.

You need a way to activate the spark (usually a spark gap), capacitors (really cheap you can make beer-bottle caps), lots of magnet wire and some beefier primary wire. I'm not going to re-explain how to make a tesla coil here - there are dozens of ibles on it, and thousands of youtube videos. If you can't research it on your own, you probably shouldn't play with high voltage.
