what is this screwdriver within a screwdriver and what is its use? Answered

I have two of them somewhere in my toolbox as real screwdrivers (extra long).
They are used to lock the screw with the inner screwdriver to put them in hard to reach places - usually where a magnatic screwdriver is really unwanted.

That looks like a tire valve tool.

I have one that is made to rethread the valve stem from when I drove truck.

The same tool is used on the valves on frig gas.

It's designed to adjust trim pots where the shaft has an external locking ring. You unlock it with the outer driver and then do the sdjustment with the middle driver then holding the shaft in place you re-lock. Often used in high vibration situations.
