..what kind of battery should i get to run for a 16 mile bike ride??
I have installed a motorcycle headlight to my beach cruiser..and was thinking of getting blinkers for it too..im just stuck on battery..

Hey thanks for Feedback !! this what i found..its got high and low beams..ive been told i might want to change the light bulb...but why did they put the one there on the first place..dunno!!..but ill take direction..just want to get this thing working!!..thanks People!

You need a battery that will supply at least 3 amps for say 2 hours.
I suggest you look at the lithium batteries used for RC aircraft, a 4 cell will give you around 12 volts.
NOTE you will also need a suitable charger for this type of cells. They can be dangerous if not charged properly
Alternatively a small lead acid battery perhaps for a motor bike should be OK.

Is that an incandescent lamp? Replace it with LED's and it won't be a problem

If you did not use LED's for the job you might need a trailer for the battery.
So as with most request here: Make sure to provide the details people need to answer your questions as our crystal balls are getting hazy from overuse.

You, and we, need to know the wattage of the lights OR the current drawn.
Likely this is on a lable or the box the light came in.
Tell us more and we might have a better idea.
