No, "what" does not rhyme with "orange".

I've heard "silver" proposed, on the argument that "things that rhyme with nothing else rhyme with each other, by exclusion."

If you do a bit of searching, you will find that there have been many good solutions to this involving multi-word rhymes. Exactly which ones work best for you depends on your own accent.

I'd suggest the hypothetical lovechild of Dar Williams and Dean Inge: Dar Inge.

There are many words that have no rhyme in the English language. "Orange" is only the most famous. Other words that have no rhyme include:
silver, purple, month, ninth, pint, wolf, opus, dangerous, marathon and discombobulate.

And if we try to rhyme anyways:
foreign, boring, forage, porridge, door-hinge.

Technically there's not much that fits the bill, but the concept of rhyming isn't quite as terse and tight as it once was.

the words borage and porridge come to mind for those who are actually poets.
