what voltage motor is needed to drive a 30x30cm chair
actually i'm making a wooden chair of 30 cm height 30 cm width and 30 cm long and attaching wheels to the legs of the chair.I wanted to know the voltage of motor that should be used. For example whether 8volt motor or 9volt motor

You will be controlling chair direction and speed with voltage using power transistors.
So a 6V, 8V, 9V or 12Volt motor will not make a big impact as long as all motors are the same.
This group of small motors usually are low torque and high speed
which is Not suitable for driving a robot.
You need a gear-head Lego like motor around 1 or 2 RPM.

Depends on what motor you can find that will be able to drive it. You need to consider how much the overall chair and occupant will weigh and how much torque will be needed to move it the speed you want. Than you can find a motor that can deliver that torque or can be geared down to deliver the torque you need. Chances are the motors you'll be looking at will be 12V, 24V, or 48V motors.
