what watt light bulb did you use for the mh and hps because i have 430 watt light bulb in mine and its way to hot. Answered

.  IIRC, HPS and MH lights have a matched ballast and lamp. If that's true, then you are stuck with the 430W lamp (or buying a fairly expensive ballast). But it's been at least 10 years since I worked with lighting, so double-check me.
.  A 430W light of any sort is going to be hot.
