You can't do anything with money itself, it's what it can buy that is the"greed" part. It all comes down to the want's and needs argument. If we all only bought the things we actually need to live, such as, food, shelter, etc. What remains is what I want because i like it or I deserve it or in some way Iv'e convinced myself that I can't live without it. Of course there is power in money. Those that don't have it may actually need it so those who have it can exert pressure in the form of interest rates, or favours etc. As rickharris said," it's too wide and complex " and so it is.
Wait a second, you can do lots of things with money itself! You can make little shirts, pants, mushrooms, and other things. You can keep yourself warm or slowly kill yourself.
You can also play chess with it. https://www.instructables.com/id/The-Worlds-Most-Expensive-Chess-Set/
If you start from a false premise, you can draw any conclusion you like and it still means nothing. Have fun.
At the end of the day money is only a paper token representing some personal obligation you have made or earned.
we live in too wide and complex society for us to go back to working on good will and favours.
Who says "it causes greed" ?
