For two different cakes just make them separately, put them into the oven together, and use re-design's tip about cooking time.
For one large cake just mix everything from both cakes together, everything will be doubled and cooking time will probably increase, but not by double.

Most ovens are plenty big enough that you can get up to 4 round cake pans on one shelf... so for two cake box mixes, you shouldn't have to do anything different (at least I've never had to). Just make sure there's enough room for the size of pans you're using.

Use two boxes and increase the cooking time 10% but check at the normal time.
