where can i get a 8000 microfarad 42V capacitorat and how much is it? I need 2 of them for my Pioneer SA-5800 Amplifier.

voltage can be greater than rated. you can parallel 1000Uf x 8 to get 8000uf.

Make sure they are from same OEM and same type.

Well you can get 50 volt 8000 uf capacitors from Mouser for $40 each and they should do you.

Problem is we don't know where in this wide world you are.

Don't you have an electronics dealer near you or what does Google tell you when you search for 8000microfarad 45 volt (or better)?

What sort of capacitor?

What are the lead arrangements?

How do you know you need new ones? - perhaps you don't

What tolerance do you need?

What size?

and several other things that may or may not make a difference.
