is instructables using some sort of tracking sw that my noscript is blocking silently?  I have allowed all permissions to instructables, but it still will not switch pictures.  works in IE though.

The instructables staff is aware of this issue, and is working on a fix for it.

In the mean time go to: Tools > Adblock Plus > Filter Preferences > Actions > Update Filters

This should fix the problem for the time being (repeat if it happens again).

It is NOT necessary to post another bug report, as there are many, many reports about this already...

Try clearing the cache on your computer so that your loading the updates from Instructables and not just partially loading information stored on your harddrive via the cache.

The staff is aware of the problem now, and is trying to implement a solution soon. For some members, trying these suggestions has helped. Since it didn't work for you, I would suggest that you add your comments to this bug report. It would help them to know how many people are still experiencing this problem. They will also notify members on that report when a solution has been made.

sorry folks; the answer is "none of the above." I am running 10.0.2 FF and neither disabling ABP nor updating the filters works. still looking for a solution. on the advice of canucksgirl i will defer post a bug report for now.

Seems to be AdBlock (AdBlock+) related. If I disable it for Instructables the images show up. With active AdBlock+ I have the same problem as you.
