You need to use a CD with the operating system on it, usually this is done (with downloading) by downloading the operating system that is in a .iso file format (e.g. win2k.iso) which can burnt onto a blank CD using image burning software like PowerISO
Are you trying to install Windows 2000 on a new blank computer? Not much sense unless you are in some corporate environment or want to play around with the OS. You will need a licensed copy of the install and most is done from a boot-up CD/floppy unless you are set up for network install from a server. You might have a tough time with getting all the drivers for your machine.
Just search for "Windows 2000 install" if needed. Good luck.

Find a old CD, or get a torrent. If your want to install a "old" OS, why not XP?

Just curious: Why on earth would you want to do that? 2nd: You could grab a torrent. I'm sure there is one out there somewhere.

Why? Have you got something that only works with Windows 2000?
(You could probably pick up a disk cheap somewhere, try Ebay?)
