wiring and grounding high voltage transformer?
i need to add another power cord to my HV Transformer it does not look like it has any difference in which way it is wired could i just connect the power cord to it
and in the second picture is the screw the ground to the case or can i just gound the case itself to a pole in the ground for example

Is the primary winding isolated from the secondary.

i dont know i cant open it but it is an OBIT

Measure it with an ohm-meter. You should have NO continuity from one side to the other.

it has to be isolated because hv supply are pretty dangerous. i had the experience very painful the some veins in my right hand were damaged

It doesn't HAVE to be isolated, it MAY be isolated, or it may be an auto-transformer.
