would you guys like to have an auction site specially for us? Answered

By this i don't mean a horrible ebay store, just a separate site. One where us geeks, art and green freaks can auction off or sell the stuff we make or own. Ya know like ebay used to be....ahh good times...good times. But seriously, would you? Because i have a domain i paid 3yrs in advance only to find out that they don't allow...adult themes....some jerk waits until a few of us run a site for a couple of weeks, then decide to update the new TOS(POS really) but auctions and stores are completely ok.

so come in and let me know, should i start something like this or not? I have a template started so far. just need the green light to go. :)

Well the swap-site here is the marketplace. the problem is it can't really rank high on search engines. And besides -ibles isn't really dedicated for a market. The site I was thinking of would be for us, artists, reinvintors, etc...
My site will be in no way affiliated  with-ibles.  I'm working on it as i write so when it is done, I'll post the link.

I think a "Swap" site would be nice if there isn't one already on here.

List what you have & list what your looking for.

Have you seen this?

I doubt there's enough ibles-only auction traffic to make it worth your while.

Well of cousre it wont be just -ibles-only traffic. It would be more for us as in "the lil people" Like old ebay used to. Im talkin anyone who ever made anything, like to sell it online. The starter guys who cant afford all of the fees of ebay, and just wants to sell somethin to make some dough. Basically i want to set up and "old ebay clone". I know it wont catch on in a flash, but i would like to do something productive with this already paid webspace. Besides ibles marketplace is more like an unorganized  craigslist. Ive seen quite a few ible/hack-aday/make/ect. builds on ebay, yet they either get lost in the crowd or the buyer doesn't understand the fact that its hacked/homemade.
by the way im asking this same question on arts& crafts forums, other places where ive seen people try to sell by email or ebay.
