Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) are essential for many electronics projects but sometimes the board you need doesn't exist. Well, then you just gotta make one yourself! For the PCB Design Challenge we want to see your PCBs and how you customize them to perfectly fit your project.
Show us your creations for a chance to win an iPad Air or Amazon Gift Card. There is also a special Judges' Prize for best use of Eagle.
If you are ready to get started but not sure what to do, check out our Circuit Board Design Class for additional information on how to make one. And here is a collection of custom PCBs to get you inspired.
*Since this is a PCB contest please make sure you mention and point out the PCB you are using if you want to qualify.
Prize Update: Due to the spread of COVID-19, all physical contest prizes (including prize packs) will be replaced with equivalent-value digital gift cards. Prize values are noted in the official rules. For more information, please see COVID-19 Adjustments to Instructables Contest Prizes.
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Mar 2, 2020 and Mar 30, 2020 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select PCB Design Challenge. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
