Paper is a great, versatile material that every crafter should have on hand. Cut it, fold it, tear it, write on it, or even combine it with conductive ink in the Papercraft Contest! There are so many ways to utilize paper in your projects and we want to see what fun and unique ways you can come up with.

Let the paper speak to you, see what Instructables emerge, and you could end up winning an amazing prize from Silhouette including a Cameo 3, Curio, or Portrait paper cutting machine. Don't let the rectangular shape confine you; go beyond the edges and see what unfolds!

The new Paper Mache class can help you get started! Free to all Instructables members.

How It Works

Write an Instructable

Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Jan 30, 2017 and Mar 27, 2017 (11:59pm PT).

Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Papercraft Contest 2017. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.

Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.

A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.

When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
