The PCB Contest is open to all projects that include a custom-designed printed circuit board.
This contest is only open to projects with PCBs designed by the author, whether you make them at home or pay a service to create them for you. If your project lives on a breadboard or perf board, now would be a great time to learn how to take your project to the next level and make your first PCB. Check out our Circuit Board Design Class to get started quickly.
The best Instructables are eligible to win a host of cool prizes like a Shapeoko 3 milling machine, 100MHZ oscilloscope and a Hakko digital soldering iron. There is even a special $250 Amazon Gift Card Judges Prize for the best Instructable that includes Eagle files. If you have never used Eagle before to make PCBs, download a free trial version right now.
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Dec 3, 2018 and Jan 28, 2019 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select PCB Contest. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
