A key part of making Instructables is documenting your project with photos. Even if you have never posted an Instructable before, you probably have taken a picture. That makes us all photographers, and means that we all have a host of photography skills and innovations to share. Your entry can be as simple as sharing a basic technique you like, or as complex as building homemade photography equipment.
Show us something photography-related that you are passionate about and document it well. Your project can involve tips, tricks, inventions, and hacks. There are 16 chances to win prizes and voting starts now. There is also an additional special prize for first-time authors.
We are looking forward to to seeing all of your awesome photography projects, so go get a move on!
Multiple entries are accepted, but each entrant can only win one prize. Contest is open to entries from US, Canada [excluding Quebec], UK, China, Belgium, the Netherlands, Australia, Colombia, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, India, and Denmark<. Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between Nov 5, 2012 and Jan 7, 2013 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select The Photography Contest. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
