When it comes to orange fruit, the pumpkin is king. (Yup, technically a fruit.) What other organic orange object can you carve into an ornate lantern, puree into a delicious entree or dessert, and roast its seeds for a satisfying snack?
For this year’s Pumpkin Challenge, we want to see you get up to your elbows in pumpkin guts. What will you make? We’re looking for edibles and jack-o-lanterns, of course, but what other intriguing pumpkin projects will you dream up? Pumpkin potpourri? A pumpkin chassis go-kart? A handsome pumpkin planter for your front stoop? We’re turning orange with anticipation.
Share everything pumpkin! We will be evaluating entries based on originality to Instructables, quality of presentation, and reproducibility. The winner receives an iPad Mini.

A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
