Overview

Calling all Teachers!

Instructables is a great academic tool and we want educators to use it for the Teachers Contest! This teachers-only contest tasks you with creating something that can be an asset for other educators in the classroom. This includes projects that are easy to build with your students or projects that aid in teaching.

Find ways to make learning hands-on and fun and you could win a prize from KitHub including the Afterschool Maker Program Kit, Classroom Motorized ArtBot Kit, and Classroom Paper Circuit Kit! There is also a special judges’ prize for the best STEAM project.

STEAM is an interdisciplinary approach to educating students in five areas of study which include: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math. It’s a way to intentionally incorporate and teach different subjects (at least two of the five) within a single project or curriculum. We want to see how you incorporate multiple subjects into one assignment or lesson plan. Don't forget to tell us which subjects you are highlighting.

Full STEAM ahead!
