Overview
The Instructables Text Contest is a celebration of the beauty and creativity found in text, and letters!
In this contest, we invite you to design and create a project that showcases your appreciation for the art of typography. It could be a piece of digital art, a hand-drawn poster, a 3D printed sculpture, or anything else that represents your unique take on text.
Remember, the focus of your project should be on text. You can use any kind of text, be it a single letter, a word, a quote, or a whole paragraph. The sky's the limit!
So why wait? Grab your tools, let your imagination run wild, and start creating. We're eager to see what you come up with!
There's a special Judges Prize up for grabs specifically for a student created entry (ages 13 and over, open to those enrolled in school or homeschooled). Make sure you specify your School and Age to qualify for the Judges Prize.
Requirements
Find a way to show appreciate for text by incorporating it into your project - the more prominent, the better.
Create a new Instructable that fits the guidelines outlined in the contest description above. To be eligible, Instructables must be published between May 13, 2024 and Jul 8, 2024 (11:59pm PT).
Upon publishing your Instructable you'll see checkboxes for open contests. Select Text Contest. If you have entries currently eligible for entry, it will also show up by clicking "Enter this Contest" on the right side of this page.
Entries are accepted by Instructables staff within one business day Monday - Friday. What matters is the submission time, not acceptance time.
A panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community rate the finalists. The averages of the ratings determine the winners.
When the winners are decided they will be notified and announced here on the contest page.
